LTP, LTX series OLT are optical line terminals, designed to establish connection with upstream equipment and to provide broadband access across passive optical networks. Ethernet connection is established through Gigabit uplink and 10GE interfaces for LTP-8(16)N(T) and 100GE for LTX-8(16), LTX-8(16) rev.B, LTX-8(16)C. GPON and XGS-PON interfaces are used to connect to optical networks. Each GPON interface allows connection of up to 128 subscriber optical terminals; each XGS-PON interface allows connection of up to 256 subscriber optical terminals through one fibre and supports dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA).
