After successfully completing the database migration, it is necessary to install EVI services version 1.4.0.

Installing EVI 1.4.0

Install and configure EVI services as described in the Manual installation section.

For version 1.4.0, it is necessary to use firmware for PACS controllers: IPA-ER-020-2.3.0_build_52.tar.gz

Verification of configuration files

Version 1.4.0 introduces changes to the structure and parameters of configuration files, including new default ports and updated sections.

General changes

Special note: evi-live.conf — extern_host parameter

In the evi-live.conf configuration file, in the [global] section, the following parameter has changed:

[global]
extern_host=127.0.0.1

Ensure that the extern_host value corresponds to the external IP address or domain name of the server through which clients connect to the system.

Recommendations

Compare the configuration files: old (1.3.0) and new (1.4.0) evi-core.conf, evi-scud.conf, evi-live.conf, evi-archive.conf, evi-analyzer.conf.

Transfer important settings (certificates, video archive paths) while adhering to the new structure.

Verifying the migration result

After completing the migration, perform the following steps:

  1. Ensure that all services run without errors;
  2. Verify data availability (users, passes, events);
  3. Check the service log files for database connection errors.

If errors occur, contact technical support with the logs.
