EVI platform system requirements
A Linux operating system is required to deploy the EVI platform and its components.
- Ubuntu 22.04.5 x64 LTS
A processor that supports AVX2 instructions is required.
Disabling Hyper-threading is mandatory.

General requirements for modules
Platform core requirements
The minimum configuration required to run the evi-core platform core and the PACS module on a single server:
| OS | CPU | RAM | SDD | HDD | LAN |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ubuntu 22.04 | 2 64-bit x86 cores | 4 GB | 100 GB | 100 GB | 100 Mbps |
Requirements for the PACS module
The IPA-ER-020 PACS controller is required for the module to operate.
The required controller firmware version is 3.4.0 build 42 or later.
Video surveillance module requirements
The module requires cameras that support RTSP connections.
Video analytics module requirements
Using virtualization
The video analytics system requires a video card.
To operate in a virtual environment, the hypervisor must support hardware passthrough of PCI/PCI-E devices, including the video card.
Compatibility with virtualization does not guarantee stable operation of the video analytics module.
The module requires a discrete video card. The minimum configuration is provided below.
| OS | GPU | SERIES | VRAM | DRIVER |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ubuntu 22.04 | NVIDIA | Quadro or RTX | 8 GB | 570 |
There may be issues installing the driver due to the Linux core. Examples of working options for installation are shown below.
Examples of installed core and driver versions:
| OS | Kernel | Driver |
|---|---|---|
| Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS | GNU/Linux 6.5.0-45-generic x86_64 | NVIDIA-SMI 570.144-1 |
Personnel requirements
The system offers a wide range of features. Most system processes are hidden from users and administrators and do not require any special knowledge on their part.
Most operations are performed through the web interface.
To administer the system, it is sufficient to be familiar with and know how to work with the following technologies:
- Linux:
- Proficiency in using the terminal;
- Understanding the operation of a network;
- Installing and administering applications.
- Docker:
- Understanding of technology principles;
- Skills in working with containers (running, shutting down, monitoring).
