NAICE testing: Where to start?
Distributions and detailed installation instructions are available at the following links:
- v1.2_1.5 Stable versions contains OVA/QCOW2 images ready to deploy on different hypervisors;
- v1.2_2.2 Installation using Ansible playbooks (stand-alone) will help you deploy NAICE using Ansible playbooks.
All necessary materials are available for download via links in the documentation, without requiring additional keys, access rights, etc.
After installation, if no license has yet been uploaded to the system, NAICE operates in demonstration mode. In this mode:
- the number of network devices, available to add, is limited to 15;
- endpoints (client devices that have passed 802.1X and MAB authentication): 15;
- guest endpoints (client devices registered or authenticated through the Captive portal): 15.
The following is also available:
- Full access to NAICE functionality (you can test all NAICE features);
- Unlimited testing period.
Let us know if the number of connections for full testing is insufficient – we'll generate a license with the appropriate parameters for you at no charge. A detailed description of NAICE licensing can be found on the v1.1_2. Licensing page.
If you encounter any difficulties during system installation or have any questions about any functionality, please contact Servicedesk technical support. All inquiries will be answered at no charge from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays (GMT+7, Novosibirsk time).
