Firmware version 1.4.0

This update brings significant enhancements to the functionality and usability of the system.

Version 1.4.0 provides advanced capabilities for video analytics, access control, and interaction with equipment.

General platform enhancements

  • The Nginx web server is replaced with Angie.
  • Added support for the h.265 video codec in the browser.

Main innovations

Interface and navigation

  • Added Administrator start page with quick access to key sections: Video analytics, Video surveillance and PACS.
  • Added a collapsible sidebar for easy navigation between sections.
  • The "Video views" page is renamed to "Monitoring" and is completely updated.
  • Added the ability to customize camera views by dragging and dropping during editing.
  • Page display now depends on the availability of active licenses.
  • Added the ability to disable notifications for the Administrator role.

Video analytics

  • Analytics and its settings are moved to the separate "Video analytics" section.
  • The "Motion detector" is moved from the camera settings to the "Video analytics" section.
  • Added support for square license plate numbers and CIS country numbers.
  • Implemented new types of analytics:
    • entering to/exit from the zone; 
    • line crossing.
  • Added schedule settings for each type of analytics.
  • Added support for triggers — it is possible to configure actions when analytics are triggered.
  • Support for operation with a second relay for controlling gates and barriers.

Video surveillance

  • The camera import and export functions are moved to the "Cameras" page for convenience.
  • Added new columns to the "Cameras" page:
    • Analytics;
    • Address;
    • Vendor;
    • Model;
    • Last connection.
  • Added a new "Archive" page for viewing camera recordings.
  • Added full-screen mode for the video player.

EVI Video Client

  • Added a button to exit full-screen mode in the video player (Linux).
  • Added a button with a drop-down list of types for quick switching.
  • Optimized the display space for better viewing.
  • The start of the day is now marked on the archive timeline.
  • Removed the playback speed selection for live broadcasts.
  • Added support for English language in the interface.

PACS

  • Added the "Updating devices" page and implemented a controller update system.
  • Added the ability to manually add a controller by serial number before installation.
  • The time of the last controller connection is now displayed.
  • The number of keys is displayed on the controller editing page.
  • Added new device types for digital inputs:
    • Button state;
    • Battery sensor.
  • Added "Door is being held (open)" alert setting.
  • Added events:
    • long gate opening;
    • long barrier opening.
  • When clicking on the control type icon on the interactive plan, the "Passages history" item appears.
  • The operational log is divided into:
    • Critical (available for the "Security" role);
    • Common.
  • Added the ability to edit a single day in the access calendar.
  • Added the ability to copy time intervals in the "Access сalendars".
  • Added to the "Guests" page:
    • additional filters;
    • ability to edit the visit period;
    • fields for email and phone number.
